Fine mourning locket adorned with seed pearls in a wreath of gold with woven hair, wire work and pearls on reverse.
The locket is black onyx and hangs from a substantial bale on a string of French jet beads.
The detail to the woven hair with pearls and coiled gold wire is beautiful. I’m happy to provide further photos of this if required.
The bolt ring is hallmarked 9ct and the overall condition of this piece is excellent. It dates from around 1880 – 1890.
