This fine antique silver brooch with diamante stones and gold decoration dates from around the 1880’s.
The semi-oval centre section is surrounded with diamante paste stones and has a small gold panel in the middle. On either side are small gold vine leaves. There are little silver balls on each end which is indicative of the Victorian period silver and gold brooches.
This brooch is really well constructed and although not hallmarked, it is definitely silver. The pin is secure and slots into a c clasp at the back.
These little Victorian brooches are very collectable.
