A faceted Mille fiori paperweight by Peter McDougall, Perthshire, Scotland.
Manufactured in his glass studio PMcD Ltd in Scotland, he began his career in glass blowing with the Strathearn glass factory and then moved onto the Perthshire glass factory. His studio operated from 2002 to 2012.
The compact mille fiori canes inside the paperweight has a central cane with the letter P, indicating the Perthshire glass factory. The sides are faceted making it an unusual shape.
It measures 5cm in diameter and stands 3cm high.
A fabulous item for paperweight collectors.
